Comments: Hello ~ We have a Dog Tag to be returned to a Vietnam USMC veteran, Paul F. Linneman, in Saint Ann, MO. Understand you dont have any Chapters there, but wondering if anyone may be passing through that area and be interested in handling the dog tag return ?

Comments: Have a 1998 Jaguar XJ8L with 73,000 miles. The timing chain went and a couple of cylinders got the valves bent. Looking at about $5,000 in repair work. Does any one know someone who buys cars for parts?

Comments: I'm looking to find a ride for my daughter from the clubhouse Friday morning, as my wife and I will be headed down earlier in the week (to visit my 2 sisters in the DC area) and don't want my daughter missing too much school. The ride doesn't matter if its by bike or cage as long as she arrives in 1 piece. We will take care of her luggage to and from, and will take her home with us after Rolling Thunder.
Also, I was hoping to see if someone would trailer my dresser to and from DC, as my wife is not able to ride down on the bike, and my sister doesn't have a lot of space for me and my trailer in her driveway or on the narrow street she lives on.
Please respond as soon as possible as to either request. Thank you NK Moose and NK Lady Cindy

Comments: All Concerned,

If you need a room in DC contact me and be put on the list. If you have a room you don't need in DC send me an email with number of nights/dates, type of bed and confirmation number. This has been procedure for 15 years and yet people either cancel rooms or give rooms to folks not on the list. If you cancel a room it is NOT returned to our block of rooms, it is made available to the public at regular rates. If people follow the rules everyone gets taken care of.

Comments: Harold was at our car show and left around 3:00 pm. He was a long time fan of the Nam-Knights and rode with the Legion out of Rochelle Park.

WEST MILFORD -- A Lodi man was killed Sunday evening after losing control of his motorcycle on Union Valley Road.

Police responded to the scene of the accident, near VanOrden Road, just before 8 p.m.

According to detectives, the crash involved a single vehicle and its operator, 55-year-old Harold T. Brendel.

Brendel was traveling south on Union Valley Road on a 2003 Harley Davidson motorcycle and lost control heading into a curve, police said.

The motorcycle left and then re-entered the roadway before overturning, tossing Brendel from the bike.

West Milford’s First Aid Squad responded to the scene, where they started treating Brendel’s injuries.

He was later transported by helicopter to Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Paterson, where he was pronounced dead.

The crash remains under investigation and police ask that anyone who may have information about it call the West Milford Police at (973) 728-2802.
